Fall is in the air and it’s almost time to start those fireplaces. Here are some good tips before that first fire of the season. For Gas-Burning Fireplaces: Check and clean your fireplace's blower. Make sure to check the airways for both the main burners and the pilot. If your fireplace has a remote, take this opportunity to check and replace the batteries. Real wood burning fireplace- Don’t forget to have your chimney inspected. Use HARDWOODS that have been dried for at least 6 months.
